A second person is arrested in the murder of a 20-year-old Graham
woman.
Authorities in Young County arrested 22-year-old Lajuana Shunta
Long. She is charged with the murder of
Candice Shields. Long is being held in
the Young County Jail on a $750,000 bond.
Officials say Long is from Graham.
Shields was last seen at her grandparents' home on Dec. 10, 2011.
Officials say she was three-months pregnant
then, and also had a one-and-a-half year-old child.
On Feb. 6, authorities arrested 24-year-old
Jeremy Paul Thornburg of Sweetwater. He's
also charged with murder. Officials say
Thornburg has been a person of interest in the case since Shields disappeared. Investigators say he had been in
a "personal relationship" with Shields.
