One Week of Ticketing Yields 14 Stage 3 Water Citations

By: Melissa Foy
Updated: February 21, 2013
Officials say more than a dozen city citations have been issued to residents who weren't complying with stage three water restrictions which went into effect about two weeks ago.
Half of the citations were issued because residents were using their automatic sprinkler systems after 5 a.m.
Fourteen citations have been issued in the past week.
Officials did not issue citations during the first week of stage three water restrictions.
