The Search is on For New President-CEO of Wichita Falls Chamber of Commerce

By: Melissa Foy
Updated: February 27, 2013

The Wichita Falls Chamber of Commerce board is establishing a search committee to appoint a new president-CEO. That position was vacated by Tim Chase earlier this month. Chase left his position to work in a similar role in Wichita, Kansas.

According to Kevin Pearson, Executive Vice President of Economic Development, that search committee is headed by Chuck White of First Bank. Pearson says the board is still recruiting potential members for the search committee. He says the committee is also considering hiring a consultant to help with the search.

Pearson says the next Chamber of Commerce president will have a strong role of shaping the future of Wichita Falls. He says the committee wants that person to take the city into the next 20 to 30 years and that that the committee is 100 percent committed to hiring the right person to do that.
