The Faith City Kennel Club Dog Show featured breeds of dogs ranging from Bulldogs to Terriers. All being judged on their physical appearance and various standards based on the type of dog.

Alongside their owners dogs trotted around the pens inside of the J.S. Bridwell AG Center showing ooff for judges who looked at each dogs condition, size and builtness. Along with the way they worked with their handlers.

"Training with them to watch me and build a bond with me so that when we go in the ring, you really don't want to know that there's a dog and a handler, you want it to appear that there's one entity and your eyes and drawn to the dog." Said Dog Handler Judi Hartell.

Hartell is a handler from Austin Texas who has been training dogs for over 50 years and she says the training process needed to get these pooches ready for the show can be quite grueling.

"We actually start with puppies about 12 weeks old and we start working with them and training them, training them that the lead is a good thing." Said Hartell.
