A new mailbox has residents in one Wichita Falls neighborhood excited about reading.
The Little Free Library is a program with the West Lynwood School Readiness Project and United Way.
The mini library located in front of Building Blocks Learning Center promotes literacy by having a mailbox full of books for children to "take a book and return a book."
The library was created after one resident in the neighborhood saw the Little Free Library on the Today show.
"It's books, stories, those are just ways that we get an opportunity to travel to go to places to experience things that none of us would," said Carlos Williams, a Wichita Falls Resident.
Project organizers say they hope to have 20 more Little Free libraries in the neighborhood by May and eventually all over Wichita County.
