A 17-year-old Wichita Falls man is behind bars tonight, charged with two different counts relating to injury to a child.
Joseph Brook Jameson is charged with injury to a child and aggravated sexual assault of a child.
An arrest affidavit states a five-year-old girl told her grandmother Jameson spanked her with his hand, a belt, and also hit her on the head with a phone.
Two days later, the child reportedly told her grandma Jameson sexually assaulted her at a home in the 12-hundred block of Travis.
The affidavit states Jameson had been babysitting the child while her mother was at work.
He's jailed on $225-thousand in bonds.
