FBI Still Searching for "Loan Ranger Bandit"

By: Larry Statser
Updated: March 6, 2013

The FBI has been searching for a serial bank robber known as the Loan Ranger Bandit for four years now and he is still on the loose.

The robber is suspected in around 10 bank robberies since January of 2009, including one in Wichita Falls in 2011. The Citi Bank at Fairway and Kell was held up by a man who passed a note to the teller demanding money.

Police say he was armed with a handgun. The Loan Ranger Bandit never attempts to disguise his face and asks tellers for 20s, 50s and 100s. He is a white male in his early 30s, about 5'7" to 6 feet tall and 200 pounds with short light brown hair and a small mole over his right eye.

In some robberies he wore a Texas Ranger baseball cap, which led to his nickname. If you have any information on this case, call the FBI at 1-800-call-fbi.
