Horse Trainer Tames Ornery Horses

He's not the Horse Whisperer but his skills are comparable to Robert Redford in the popular 1998 movie.
He's demonstrating his skills at this year's Ranch and Farm Expo.
Scott Daily is a horse owner/trainer from Kansas.
He knows Texomans love their horses but getting an ornery horse to calm down can be difficult.
So he used Mary, a nine year old mare from a local horse rescue, and demonstrated how a gentle touch can generate success.
"I'm going to go in there and I'm going to do what I do and I'm going to show confidence in what I'm doing to where that builds that horses confidence in me," Daily explains.
Daily's command of the mare impressed his owner who says she has bitten and kicked several volunteer trainers at Underdog Ranch horse rescue.
Now, the owners says thanks to Daily, they will no longer call this mare Contrary Mary.
