An Electra teacher's aide has been terminated after being charged with making a false report to police. 46-year-old Mona Lisa Lecolst was booked on the class B misdemeanor on Wednesday and is not now listed on the inmate roster of the Wichita County Jail.

Electra ISD Superintendent Gary Nightingale says she was an aide at Dinsmore Elementary and was terminated yesterday. Electra Police Chief Johnny Morris says Lecolst filed a report of vandalism involving someone putting graffiti on her house and car.

She was arrested after police determined that report was false. According the the arrest affidavit, Electra Police had set up a surveillance camera facing her driveway due to numerous previous reports of vandalism by Lecolst.

Officers say they recorded Lecolst writing obscenities on a fender early on the morning of February 28. Morris says the department continues to look into other possible aspects of the incident.
