Subaru Recalls 47,000 Cars for Remote Start Issues

The automaker says if the key fob is dropped, it can malfunction and cause the engine to start on its own. If the vehicle is parked in a garage, there's the risk of carbon monoxide buildup.
The recall affects some Legacy and Outback cars from model years 2010 to 2013. It also affects the Impreza from 2012 and 2013 and the 2013 XV Crosstrek. Subaru dealers will replace the key fobs for free.
