Who
is the fittest person in Texoma?
Today, folks put their strength to the test to see if they could win that coveted title.
22 competitors from Crossfit Wichita Falls huffed and puffed as they did a series of weight lifting, increasing the weight as they went, and burpees.
And they continued those exercises for 17 minutes.
Today's competition is a qualifying round to make it to the Crossfit Game Regionals.
Daniel Boyd, owner of Crossfit Wichita Falls, says the goal of the games is to test your total fitness level.
"So what you want to do is instead of being able to dead lift a whole lot or run a mile in a certain amount of time it's just not specializing and being really good at everything," he said.
The final Crossfit games will be held this July in California.
