A 25-year-old Wichita Falls man is charged after police say he hit a two-year-old boy who began crying when told to make his bed.

Eric Lupe Ramirez is charged with injury to a child. Police say they met with a Child Protective Service investigator about the boy who had bruises on the left side of his face. They say the boy's mother said the boy began crying because he didn't want to make his bed, and the crying woke Ramirez up.

She said she heard the sound of the boy being struck and later noticed red marks on the side of his face. The CPS investigator interviewed the toddler and says he told her his daddy made the "boo-boo" on his face.

According to the affidavit, the boy's 5-year-old brother was also interviewed and told the investigator his daddy hit his brother because he "can't make his bed."
