Spring Breakers in Alabama Survive Deck Collapse

(WPMI)  Six spring breakers were rushed to an Alabama hospital after a beach house deck they were standing on collapsed Monday.

The collapse happened around 4:30 Monday afternoon at a home in Gulf Shores. 

Witness accounts vary as to how many people were on the deck when it collapsed, ranging from 15 up to 50. 

"The support beams gave out, and the whole porch just collapsed," said William Bonner, who was  inside the house. "People said they couldn't feel their legs. We were worried they might be paralyzed from the waist down."

Fortunately, all of the injuries ended up being minor, according to Gulf Shores Police.
