An all-day stand-off Monday at Lake Lawtonka in Lawton ends in fatal gunfire.

It happened yesterday around 1 p.m.

Lawton police received a call that a man had a gun in the Lake Lawtonka day-use area.

Investigators identified the man as Phillip McCoy.

Negotiators were called to the scene and after more than 10 hours the standoff ended after police say McCoy shot and killed himself.
