Kelsey Grottie Stops By KFDX To Talk About Her Gold Medal Performance

Bowie's Kelsey Grottie won a gold medal in Corpus Christi on Saturday in the state powerlifting meet. She had a three lift total of 1,005 pounds to earn gold after back-toback silver medal finishes the past two years. Kelsey hasn't lost a meet since her freshman year. She also brought home a $1,000 scholarship after winning a contest. She qualified by maintaining a 3.25 throughout her four years at Bowie.
