(WLWT)  A spacious house under construction in Edgewood, Kentucky has attracted lots of attention and inspired rumors about its owner's identity.

Builder Tim Burks said the 15,000-square-foot home is the largest and most detailed project of his 36-year career.

"I want to have it look like a 200-year-old northern European castle," Burks said.

The house even has a moat of sorts. The massive mansion will have a man-made lake in front of the house, separating it from the road.

"The way it is going to be lit, it will look like you will be able to drive your gondolas through the arches," said project manager Linda Cochran.
