A former employee from a Wichita Falls supermarket is charged after police say she loaded gift cards with funds without accepting payment.

23-year-old Ashley Nicole Scott is charged with engaging in organized criminal activity for theft under $20,000. Representatives from the Walmart on Greenbriar told police Scott and two other employees were involved in the scam.

In a period of five days, Walmart management claims this happened seven times and the amount stolen was just over $1,500. Scott is out on a $5,000 bond.
