Updated: October 10, 2012
Tobin became sports director of KFDX-3 News in January 2007. Prior to that he spent 10 years anchoring weekend sportscasts on KFDX, including the popular weekly sports show Sports Sunday.

Tobin is  a Brighton, MI native, graduating high school as a Brighton Bulldog and then college as a Central Michigan University Chippewa.

Tobin landed his first job in television at KFDX in 1995 as an overnight producer and within a year became the morning news anchor before eventually landing in his preferred position in the sports department.

Among Tobin's most memorable include covering the 2010 & 2011 World Series, the 2010 NBA Finals, the 2011 Super Bowl and travelling with Midwestern State to national tournaments in recent years (basketball, soccer, cross country and softball).

Tobin's hobbies include reading, watching sports and collecting memorabilia. He admits to being a baseball junkie and like a lot of guys, hopes to one day set foot in every Major League ballpark. Since he's only been to nine, he's got quite a bit of work ahead.

Tobin is married to Missy and together they have a beautiful daughter, Lucy.

Wichita Falls is a great place to live and he's happy to call it home.

Tobin is committed to providing the most in-depth local sports coverage in the market. If you have a story or coverage idea for Tobin, please e-mail him at Tobin@kfdx.com
