Skip McBride joined the KFDX team in January 1983 as a weekend Meteorologist. In January 1984 Skip became the Early Weekday Meteorologist with "RFD 3 with Joe Brown" at 6 AM and on "THE MIDDAY EDITION." In July 1984 Skip was moved to the position of Chief Meteorologist and took over the anchor duties on NewsCenter 3 at 5, NewsCenter 3 at 6, and on NewsCenter 3 at 10. Skip served 20 years with the USAF. His entire military career was in weather. First as an Observer Instructor, and finally as a DUTY FORECASTER. Skip served primarily in Europe (England) and the United States. He is married with two children.
