The Raiders send Cliff Peirce to the mound on Thursday night in North Richland Hills against the Birdville Hawks. "They have a good group of lefties that are their three, four and five-hole hitters that can hit the ball pretty well. If you hang one or make a mistake they will make you pay for it," says Peirce. "Ill just try to do my best to stay in the zone, stay low and do what I can." "If we ever play up to our ability we can win every game,"adds battery-mate Landon Little. "We just have to take one game at a time." Game two of the best-of-3 series is Friday night at Hoskins Field with a 7:30 first pitch. If a third game is necessary it it will at 4:30 Saturday in Weatherford.
