Information:

Meteorologist Bryan Rupp has lived in nearly every corner of Texas over the years. He's worked on the South Plains of West Texas in Lubbock, on the bayous of Southeast Texas in Beaumont and in Big D! Spending so much time living, working and forecasting in Texas has given Bryan unique and well qualified experience to understand the micro-climates of Texas from the Caprock and Llano Estacado to the deep south coastal plains. Each have separate features that can effect the weather all over the state.

When Bryan joined the KFDX weather team he warned Skip and David that bad weather can sometimes follow him. For instance when he went to Southeast Texas he warned them and within two months they had a Tropical Storm, Hurricane Gustave and Hurricane Ike. And, since arriving in Texoma he's experienced the worst winter on record for snowfall, one of the worst ice storms in history and numerous other unique weather events. Let's hope Bryan breaks his streak of bad weather following him!

Bryan enjoys living in Texoma from hiking in the Wichita Mountains and travelling west to do the same in the Caprock Canyon and Palo Duro Canyon. He also spends a lot of time in the spring and summer chasing severe storms and tornadoes around the area.

When you are out and about Texoma and you see Bryan make sure you say hello and chat about the weather, it's his favorite pastime.

If you would like to follow Bryan on Facebook just go to www.facebook.com/MeteorologistBryanRupp and add him as a friend. You will receive daily weather forecasts and when he's in the field with the chase team you can follow his every move to find out what the storms are doing and if he's intercepted any tornadoes.
